It is essentially a catalogue of the plants offered by the nursery at which the author works with an anecdotal guide to the relative deer resistances thereof, together with a promotion of the use of Milorganite a product also sold at the nursery. I don't doubt the author's assertion that it repels deer -- it should repel every living thing. The author also confuses the scientific name of oregano with that of basil among his many errors , calling into question the extent of his knowledge of anything related to horticulture.
